Our event center and lodging are situated on the peaceful shores of Cayuga Lake in Interlaken, NY, just a 30 minute drive from Ithaca, NY. The quiet, friendly neighborhood includes several lakeside residences, a restaurant and bar right next door, and an award-winning winery just down the street. The property is just off the Cayuga Lake Wine Trail and not far from many other Finger Lakes attractions, especially if traveling by boat.

The property is historic and has been home to all kinds of interesting things over the years. The farmhouse was once the home of the captain of the Busy Bee Ferry, which operated out of the point next door throughout the late 1800s. The captain proudly made over 40,000 trips across Cayuga Lake in his years of operating the ferry, which was powered in part by a team of horses. You can find photos of the boat and details of its history throughout the house, and parts of the boat are still visible at the bottom of the lake by the dock, where it was sunken at the end of its life.
