The farmhouse.
The farmhouse was built in the early 1800s and for decades served as the residence for a local family who operated the Busy Bee Ferry out of the nearby point. The captain of the Busy Bee proudly made over 40,000 trips across Cayuga Lake in his years of operating the ferry, which was powered in part by a team of horses.
Today, the farmhouse has undergone significant renovations, but pieces of its history can be found throughout the house. On the first floor you can find a large, open kitchen and living area surrounded by a wraparound porch that is an ideal central gathering space. There is one bedroom and bathroom on the main floor, and two bedrooms, a sleeping loft, and another bathroom upstairs.
The cottages.
Situated across the road from the farmhouse along the lake, the four quaint cottages were originally built in the 1940s in a nearby state park to house returning soldiers, and were later moved to their current location in the 1950s to serve as a small family camp.
Presently, all four cottages have been thoughtfully renovated and their space has been maximized to provide guests with ideal comfort and ease. The cottages are outfitted with king beds or twins, along with their own private bathrooms with showers, and a central kitchen pavilion that all the cottages share.
The bridal suite.
The bridal suite is the most recent addition to the Cayuga Shoreline. It is all newly renovated & freshly furnished, consisting of three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. It is the perfect space to get glamorous before your big day & crash at the end of the night with your favorite people.
